Year 2 have been learning how to program in computing. Today they had their first lesson using software called scratch. It’s a free piece of software that allows you to control characters called sprites using blocks of code. As it was their first lesson the children had a ‘play’ with the software trying to make the sprites move and play sounds. If your child wants to practice using scratch at home you can download it by clicking on one of the links below.

Year 5 have been enjoying getting #WorldCup ready with a live writing lesson delivered by @HelpPicture and @HeyPobble They have written some fantastic suspense narratives about a penalty shoot-out! Well done Year 5!
