This week we made the most of the good weather that the start of the spring season brought with it. The children have all enjoyed being in the outdoor area.

We explored in the sand and made patterns in the flour. The children also enjoyed riding on the bikes and scooters.

Inside we made flowers with card and the playdough. We used the flowers to help to change the winter wonderland to Spring.

We also found out about the season of Lent.  We have had our feet painted to remind us how we need to walk with Jesus. We will be continuing to learn about Lent next week.

Next week we will also be completing patterns in Mathematics.  We will be focusing on repeating patterns and symmetrical patterns.  In Literacy we will be practising writing our names and looking at print in the environment.  We will also be looking at what flowers need in order to grow.
