As part of our Science unit ‘Animals Including Humans’, we spent the afternoon in Forest School hunting for insects.
We worked in small groups and explored different areas, looking carefully under logs, leaves and plants. We discovered lots of fascinating creatures, including worms, beetles, spiders and other tiny minibeasts.
We observed the insects closely and talked about their features and where they lived. It was a fantastic opportunity to take our science learning outdoors and discover just how many creatures are living around us!
