Year 4 have been busy bees this week:

We received a letter from Councillor Antony Tucker notifying us of plans to shut down Spencer Park and replace it with a car park. Here is a snapshot of some of our reactions:

But, don’t worry. We have hatched a plan to make our voices heard and save Spencer Park! Watch this space… … 

In Maths, we have been getting to grips with place value this week, using different representations to support our understanding of numbers up to 1,000. 

We have become Google Earth Explorers in Geography to locate cities in North America and research what they are like… 

… and in Science, we enjoyed learning about the different categories of vertebrates before we had a go at grouping animals by ourselves!
