What a fabulous first week back in Year 4!
We settled in with the story ‘First Day Jitters’ and a mysterious sip of Mrs Hartwell’s special Jitter Juice – just the thing to chase away any first-day butterflies (for both the children and the grownups!).
We loved getting to know more about one another through our All About Me bags and sharing what they did (or, in some delightfully imaginative cases, didn’t do!) over the summer.
We folded fearsome monster origami bookmarks, made birthday cards for our fellow Year 4 friends and set off as Google Earth explorers, travelling the world without ever leaving the classroom!
Next week, the ‘real work’ begins!
